Edl aus Südtirol
Originally from France, the Petit Manseng grape variety provides an ideal basis for sweet wines. Despite rapid accumulation of sugar, the grapes have high acidity levels, which are able to balance the sweetness in the wine later. Due to their small berries, the grapes can easily hang on the vine for a long time and slowly dry out and rosin. Together with the grape variety Gewürztraminer, a bright golden to amber-coloured sweet wine is produced. The Gewürztraminer brings the spice and exotic fruits into the glass. A great companion at the end of a meal combined with desserts or cheese.
